Whatever glue you use to make the repair, make sure that it will not eat up the foam inside. Your not alone I have seen this posted before but can not find an answer.
Hopefully someone will come in with an answer.

This is the only repair I could find. basement doors

I discussed this issue with a NRV tech, when they were open, he stated they used products like Gorilla Glue. Richard's word of caution is a good reminder, however if the entire foam insert has not come out, it will be hard to test a small area.

Richard, thanks for link, that project is on my annual "To do" list.

Fred,
That link reminds me to open and close my basement doors with respect.
This is my second NRV and no problems with the doors yet.

It was suggested on another forum by a former National RV customer service rep that Liquid Nail would do the job.

Go to Home Depot or Lowes and purchase some 2 part epoxy with a 30 minute dry time. I have used epoxy to glue foam to metal and wood without it attacking the foam. Apply a small amount to test on foam I'm sure you won't have a problem.

My glue of choice on foam is GOOP. or Shoe GOO (Same product line)

However.. In the worst case contact a good body man.. I totaled one of my doors and Ramo (My body man) completly re-bulit it better than new.
