Battery disconnect

We have a 97 dolphin that is in great shape, however just went out in storage to check things and interior lights work fine when plugged in but not disconnected. New batteries last fall they show 6 plus volts each but monitor panel shows dead. Has been plugged in for 4 days which I assumed was enough for the converter to charge house batteries. I think problem is in disconnect switch. It doesn't feel like anything is happening with the rocker switch went pushed. Is there a fuse that would keep the converter from charging? It is a INTELLITEC switch. Any info appreciated

If you have a small momentary rocker switch to connect/disconnect the batteries, it is really controlling a latching solenoid.

it is very likely that the solenoid is bad or the contacts are burned.
You probably have two large solenoids, for house and chassis disconnects,
and then a third which would be your aux start solenoid which ties the house & chassis batteries together.

Yes, there will be a fuse in the low current circuit that could be blown also.

Find the solenoids, and see if you get a voltage to the small terminals when the rocker switch is pushed.

Regards,

Dan

Here the drawing of the Battery Control Center (BCC) the latching relay and interconnect/boost relay are mounted behind the circuit board. While it is possible the latching relay is bad but unlikely. My switch sometimes does not make contact to close the latching relay. Try operating the switch several times, that works for my switch. Some day I'll replace it.
