I think that the House Battery Disconnect Solenoid is bad. I have the Surfside RV. Where can I find the Solenoid?

the easiest way to find it, is go to the hot side of your house battery. Follow the heavy duty wire, Usually a #2 or larger wire, until it attaches to the disconnect.

Oikay I tried that. there is one large wire that goes to the inverter, another one goes to the solenoid that connects the house batteries to the starter battery. And a Third one that goes to the battery charger. could not find how the panel is fed. I'm assuming that solenoid is bad and that is why there is not power.

When you do find it, check for secure connections. I just went through a series of problems that were caused by a loose solonoid connection. Good Luck

Found the Solenoid its in a compartment front left compartment. As it turned out that was not the problem. It was a ground wire disconnected. I spent several hours tracing out the wires checking the ohms on the wires. Figured out it was a grounding problem. the first ground wire I started to look at was disconnected.
