Bedroom slide problem

Finally after this long winter have started working on getting our 1999 5371 Dolphin ready for summer travels and the bedroom slide is not opening. The living room slide works as usual but when i turn the key for the rear slide there is no click sound at all (so know it isn't just stuck). Seams as if there isn't any power going to the slide. Any ideas where I can start to look and check it out. I'm thinking relay, fuse, or something of the such. All ideas would be appreciated. If I can get on the right track of what to look for it would be great. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

More likely a bad switch.. Try this first.

Kill all 12 volt power (Battery disconnect)

now: Operate the switch, like 50 times, both in and out positions back and forth, Since there is no power this will not damage anything.

Now restore power and try again. If it works, buy lotto tickets, if not, Well at least you got your money back on that repair attempt (Free is after all Free).

Just kidding on the lotto tickets, that actually is the suggested first repair.

NEXT STEP. locate the controller and see if a wire came off (Also back of switch) While at controller check for 12v.

Finally,, Depending on the slide type, there is a manual override, Without knowing slide type I can only guess as to what it is.

On later models the slide control relays are located on the DC Battery Control Board, in the compartment fwd. of the entrance door. I am thinking the relays are located around the bottom right. The wiring blueprint is available on the National RV Forum over on Yahoo.

Thanks for the info. Been pouring rain here the last couple of days but hopefully I can get back out there to check it out. Greatly appreciate both of your responses and will give them a try.

Tried the switch idea. No go. Have power going to the switch and then when the swith is turned to an in or out position the volts go back to 0. I believe that's how it should work. So switch seems to be working aok. will try to hunt down wiring diagrams but the DC board that is in the rig doesn't match up to the wiring diagram in the manual. Any other ideas?
