Black Streak Removal

Has anyone come across a good product to clean and remove black streaks? Our motorhome has been sitting in storage during the winter and we are wanting to clean it now that the camping season is fast approaching.

Thanks,
RV Dreamer

I experimented on my black streaks yesterday. I was able to clean them off using "Black Streak" remover I got from Walmart that was on the paint. I could not get any of the streaks off of my windows and I tried everything I could steal from the DW's cleaning cabinet.

Try some Gel Gloss. I've tried all the so called "black steak" removers and I find Gel Gloss works the best for me. It can be used on windows also.

You can buy Gel Gloss at Home Depot or Lowes. You'll find it where the sinks and fiberglass shower stalls are. I know, that's where I found it the last time I bought it at Home Depot. Also, I believe Camping World sells it but it will be more.

We've had good luck with Simple Green, straight from the bottle undiluted.

This worked great. I have both of my side windows spotless now and have applied a good layer of RainX per the UTube video. Being I finally put on my gutter extensions maybe they will stay that way. I will tackle the windshield tomorrow.

Yes Awesome is the name. It's in a clear spray bottle with red lettering. Go to a Dollar store and ask where it's located. This stuff is amazing and only a Dollar. I also spray it on my tires and let set for about 15 seconds scrub with a brush and rinse off good as any tire cleaner. You'll be amazed how good this stuff works.

bought a waterless wash called dry-shine and it not only removed the black streaks but in 2 hr. I had 1/2 my coach (36) cleaned and waxed.

I got it at Canadian tire but I am sure that it is a product that comes up from the states.

Fantastic stuff, going to use it on the toad too
