I removed the LH panel on the dash of our Dolphin to check on a wiring problem and in the process, noticed a dangling connector ( gray wire ) that looked like it should be plugged into the booster switch. We bought the motorhome new and have never used the switch so don't know if it works the way it should. From the back of the switch, there are three prongs on the left - Double red/white wires at the top, single red/white wire in the center, and single yellow/white wire on the bottom. On the right are two prongs - Double black/white on top and nothing on the bottom one, which I suspect is where the gray wire should go. I just don't want to plug it in and then operate the switch just to see what will happen. Could end up with a big bang!! Sorry for this long winded summary, but hope some tech type out there can shed some light on this

Hi Seumas, I don't know the answer, but I also found the same "Grey Plug Female Wire" hanging free near the same booster switch when I was digging to get my Daytime Driving Lights up and going to pass Cdn Inspection recently, so I will be following your tread for new aswell.
Noticed you have the 08 DL35C Dolphin, we do aswell, bought used in Phoenix May 1st., but it has the WH-24 Chassis and Allison 6-Pushbutton tranny.
We're in western Qc., near the Ontarion border, If our paths ever pass it would be great to compare notes on our similiar rigs. Edouard.

We got our 2008 new in Tucson last year and it came with driving lights already, plus had a lot of the LX options which makes it a nice unit. Had no problems at the border. We are in the BC Cariboo area, so don't know if we'll cross paths unless you are in the Yuma area over the winter.

I will say this.. They make one wireing harness for several different configurations.. Thus there are always extra wires in the bundle.
