My wife and I completed purchase on National Tradewinds LTC 7374 yesterday. 2002 model with only 17900 miles. Private sale. In great shape. Had diesel mechanic check it out- he said to jump on deal.
had to put new tires on it this morning. Old original tires were very weather cracked. Still a shame to throw away all that good tread. But as a professional driver- both busses and trucks- I know the value of good tires. Went with Michelin XRV's.Pricey, but worth it I know.
I look forward to our first trip soon. Also look forward to using this board for info. Already posted one question 2 weeks ago and got good response . Thread is - Almost bought Tradewinds today
if you are interested.

Congratulations!! We bought a 1998 Tradewinds three weeks ago, got caught in a blizzard with sub zero temps bringing it back to Iowa. I-80 was a sheet of ice - 25 mph and vehicles off the road for miles - froze up the water system. I still haven't figured out how to get heat into the water bay.
I wish you better luck!

Steve

Steve run you rear LP heater, it will push heat into the wet bay. Also use a drop light with a 60 watt bulb if your at home, it makes nice heat for the bay. Good luck

Found a 2" diam. opening directly below the back furnace. With both furnaces running no air goes into the water bay.
