Most likely the pre wire for King Dome satellite antenna

I guess it could be, I always thought it was a shop install. I personally prefer the old reliable crank-up sat dish. (KISS principal)

Depends on what antenna you are refering to. Our Winegard 4600 crank-up is not close to the box and all the wiring goes into the unit above the passenger seat.

If you look at KingDome installations, the unit is installed right where the "Box" is located.

My 2005 dolphin has the same thing. Its for sat. hookup no mater what kind you preffer.

Yep, it is the Pre wiring for a King Dome. The cable will be universal but I don't know if you could use the controller on another brand. I did my own install. Pretty easy. Drill a bunch of holes in the roof, caulk around the holes, screw in the brckets for the dome, caulk around the bracket, bolt down the king dome, open the box, make holes or slots for the cable pass through, caulk the holes after passing the cables, connect them to the dome, connect the insides, program the dome if needed and you are ready to go. Hardest part is getting the dome on the roof.
