We need a little more information. Are you talking about a Brake Controller for a towed vehicle? Wouldn't want to mess with the brakes of the motorhome.

It's for the electric brakes on a trailer I am towing...Most motorhomes and trucks have a factory wiring loom going from the hitch up to the dash panel with a plug for the aftermarket electric brake controller..Usually in the wiring loom It has a Hot wire to charge batteries in the trailer being towed, turn and tail lights, blue wire for the brakes, and the brake switch wire..all used for the electric brake controller..I know it has to be there but just cant find it under the dash...All those wires mentioned are in a wiring loom back at the hitch

I don't think it is prewired, if you are referring to a controller for a dingy. I wired my 2002 and later my 2005 Seabreeze for a US Gear brake controller

I read on one of these forums that the connector is tie-wrapped somewhere on the steering column....or somewhere under the dash.

Gotta hunt for it. Good luck!

Try under the dash left side up under the parking brake. Mine was in a plastic bag tied up to other wires.

The pigtail is there. Mine is a ford chasis and I looked and looked but could not find it. Finally I found a group of wires that were wrapped in plastic tie wrapped to the main wiring harness behind the dash and the pigtail was there. When you buy the controller (I bought a prodigy, make sure you get the correct adapter for your rig) Good luck
