brake lights don't work on 1999 34' tropi-cal.

hello all,

the brake lights on our new-to-us 1999 tropi-cal 34' do not work.

tail lights & four-ways work...have power to trailer light socket...all related fuses and relays tested working (under dash, hood and compartment by entry door).

am in process of hunting down wiring harness...

any one had similar problem? all ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Check the wiring harnesses in the very back of the coach, especially the multi-wire plugs. Trace back from the tail lights. The plugs are plastic and on my coach they are deteriorating and I found one had a wire that had backed out of the retainer on the plug and not making contact. Good luck.....Rook
