I would like to replace my bedroom ceiling light with a 12 volt 36" fan
with a 1.2 amp draw.Does anyone know if the existing wire will support
this draw.We have a 2005 Sea Breeze LX 8360

Ron,
I didn't even know that they made 12 volt ceiling fans, so thank you for the education.
My concern would be is there enough support in the ceiling light mount to hold the weight of a ceiling fan and any added vibrations while traveling down the road...some of which are not well maintained.

Short answer is yes. The ceiling light wiring already supplies about an amp draw do to that ceiling light.

I'd say go for it. It's likely you have #12 wiring feeding your lights and protected with a 20 amp fuse. Such a small fan should be easy to mount securely. Good luck!!

I installed mine off the ceiling light power and left the light usable. The bedroom light is a low profile fluorescent which the fan clears easily. I found my fan at:
Walt's RV Surplus
16616 Valley Rd
Fontana, CA 92335
909-823-0563

I got it a few years ago before they moved to this address and paid $20 for an open box with no parts missing. Good luck in your endeavors.

I've included a photo.
