It has come time to change out the house batteries on my 04 dolphin. We do not do any dry camping, so do I need to go back with two 6volt batteries or can I use just one 12 volt battery? Are there ant good deals on house batteries that ya'll know of? Thanks Gayle

I just replaced my 2 6v house batteries in my 2000 SeaView with 2 6v Deka batteries that cost me $86 each. They get good reviews and are good looking batteries.

The most bang for the buck would probably be two 6 volt golf cart batteries from Sam's Club...at least you're getting true deep cycle and should last a long time.

What about using a Battery Minder type device that keeps a constant trickle charge on the batteries when the coach is not being used. Would those help extend the replacement period.
I have 4 trojans and I am not looking forward to replacing them $$ wise.

Looking to replace all four of mine. Have been quoted everything from 170 each to 135 each for Trojan 105's

Will two 12V golf cart batteries fit...which can be connected parallel for a neater and simpler package...not sure what they cost.
