Every time I try to put water in the city water inlet to fill the tank the hose leaks where the hose tightens up. It's not the hose washer. Looks like its leaking just behind it. Does anyone know how hard it is to change this out. Is it screw out or is it flanged and will need a plumber?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

It may look like this instead, but not as likely.

I had this problem on my unit and had to replace the incoming city water valve. It was cracked behind the board it was mounted on and the leak was hard to locate but the new valve was only about $12. Wish all the mh problems was so cheep.

Thanks for this, mine is dripping as well. Question: did you remove the 4 screws that secure the inlet port to the panel, then unscrew the inlet port from the pipe thread behind the panel?

X2,something on mine is leaking as well and I think that's it too. My metal sheet is coming apart, rusting at the bottom, and so I'm looking at replacing it with a piece of plexiglass.Problem is that I'd really love to be able to find the decals they used on the old ones. As mine is rusting out several of them have become unreadable.
where did you find the diagrams for the water board?I have the '01 and it's a bit different.

I did remove the screws and turned the inlet port and it unscrewed from the PVC pipe on the inside. I bought the inlet port from camping world and put Teflon tape on the threads before putting it back on. I did have to remove a few bottom screws on the panel to get one hand up there to hold the PVC pipe I screwed the inlet port back into. It did stop the leak completely.

Thanks again, now I feel confident I won't screw it up.

No Dan you're supposed to "Screw it Out".

For me, it's usually the combination of the 2.

BIGDOG I made an electrical panel for my boat out of plexiglas. I used small white stickon letters on the inside of the panel. Then I painted over the letters with black paint.Looked good.

WOW,thanks for the suggestion on the letters. Now all I need is a pix of the lettering that's on there now as some of it is gone or painted over.I s'pose that this rig spent too much of it's time in the south with the bad water and no softener cuz I have found a lot of rust in the utility hatch.I had to change out the faucets inside and out along with the filter under the sink. After that I sucked a couple of gallons of vinegar into the water tank and added a whole bunch of water and then ran it thru the lines and the hot water tank with the pump.Even with figgering that the lines were plastic, there was still a lot of color coming out of the lines.I pulled the h/w plug and used the wand and a bunch of crud came out of there too.
