We have problems finding the closet door catch. We have bought ones but they are just slightly short of being deep enough. The dealer by Camping World in Vegas told us National RV had a habit of using off size catches, etc. Anyone else have problems or know where to buy them that fit? Our one original that is left is cracking and won't last much longer. I am ready to just put screws into the runner when we move!

I take it you are talking about the sliding door latch. I just bought some at our local RV store on Saturday and they work just like the original. They also have a new design out that just came out. That one looks a little more robust out too.

The mfgr of the latches makes two sizes that are very close to each other. Take the good one you have to the store and match it up with what they have. I had the same problem with mine and bought extras once I found the correct size.

My wife came up with a good idea for the closet doors that works great. Common adjustable tube type spring loaded curtain rods, lays in the track area. Easy to set, easy to adjust or remove. Available at Wally world, or any home improvement store.

looks like others have come up with good ideas. I replaced mine last year.
I still have the package but it doesn't have the manufactures name on it, so I'm no help. cost was $4.19 for 2. try a local camping store--- Camping World didn't have them for me either.

oh by the way---- I have a 2000 sea view, model 8341 with 2 slides, is this what you have?
