CO/Gas Alarm Keeps Going Off

Whenever we light the hot water heater in the campground using propane our CO/gas alarm on the floor goes off. Our electric heater doesn't work so we are using propane to heat the water. I've checked the outside and there doesn't seem to be any noticeable leaks. What could cause this?

Check the battery. All else fails, replace it....they can go bad like any other mechanical device.

Ours went off with hair spray but had the MH checked for leaks, it was OK original alarms were ready for replacement..dates are on them, should replace every 5 years or what the manufacturer states. I had a rebate posted on here for gas and smoke alarms, Ill try to find it and post it so you can get a rebate when you buy yours.

Just thought I'd let those of you who don't know,,SafeTAlert is giving rebates on their Detectors.
www.SafeTAlertRebate.com to download the rebate form..
$20 on Dual Detectors
$10 on CO or LP Detectors..
Good time to replace yours if their 5 years old..
