Considering Purchasing a National

We have owned a Coachman, Fleetwood, Tiffin and Winnebago.

Looking at a 2005 National DP, but donít know anything about them. Can I get some feedback about their reliability and particularly their handling on the road. It has a CAT diesel. Any feedback would be appreciated!

I've owned 2 Dolphins and have been very pleased generally with the build quality, but
I recommend doing some research in the Cat engine section on the C-7 engines.

Caterpillar C-7 Diesel Engine

Worked on a friends Dolphin some years ago. The construction, fit and finish wasn't too bad.

Be sure to look at the slide roofs for leaks at the rubber to metal transition. This was a problem for many that resulted in rusted slide frames. And rotted slide floors.
