My 08 Dolphin has Corian stove covers that have been cracked. I tried to fix it before I found out I could of had it fixed by a pro.and really screwed it up. Does anyone know who did the counter tops for National or where I can have one made? I have tried Walts and a couple of other RV places that bought parts from National.

Don't use any RV places, just go to the yellow pages and find a countertop fabricator and see if they do Corian tops. If they do you should be able to buy what you need ready to install. Your 08 should have a current color. I ran a countertop shop for 10 years so I know what I'm talking about.

Corian thickness may be a challenge

The countertop pros I dealt with for my smashed stovetop were very helpful but the challenge is that the quarter inch thick product is readily available as most use the half inch thick corian for countertops as they need the strength of the extra thickness.

The local shops helped me identify the exact corian I have in our 1998 model (it is aurora). I was directed by a forum member to contact Lazy Days in Florida. The good people had proper quarter inch thick piece in stock and they shipped it to me (they even cut it to size) at NO COST. (shipping to Canada did cost me $80).

You could probably get similar assistance from any business which does extensive fabrication using corian (in addition to countertops). I figure RV remodelers are a good bet as most owners with corian will want the renovations to match any they currently have in their coach. So they have scrap stock of popular RV Corian.

Good Luck!

1/4" material is not a problem for fabricators. Some older colors of Corian will be harder to find.

Vegasdan is right. ANY fabricator can build you a new one. Don't confuse a dealer with a fabricator. Two totally different things... usually. We were authorized Corian dealers way back when we had our cabinet shop but David can fabricate Corian countertops as well (he was building/installing Corian countertops in the SC upstate before there was a dealership in the area). David didn't want to get into fabrication even though the fabricators in Greenville SC really wanted him to (would have kept them from making long trips just to fix minor problems). Corian eats up the routers and bits. Now he just fabricates for our own personal use (our food cart has Corian countertops).

I would trust an authorized/trained fabricator before I would trust an RV store.
