Well I drove my 1998 Travewinds 2,000 miles home from Vegas to GA praying all the way I made the right decision. I drove it 1,000 miles last week end. I guess that's a pretty good test drive.Ihas run good and so far everything on it works even the icemaker.I think I got a good buy on dear old ebay, about 14,000 under NADA. I have had to add alittle water to the resivoir in the back a couple time about a qt each time I haven't seen any leaks or drips any where. Thanks to Dick Berry for some great downloads that have been a wealth on info.Couple of things, any body know the fuel tank capacity and in the hall going into the bedroom what is the little white vented thing with the wire on the inside. Thank you for reading and responding. Charlie Home Page

Did a little checking, and it appears that the fuel tank is 90 GAL.

The fuel tank holds 90 Gal. You can download the Brochure and Spec Sheet here, National RV Archives sorry I sent you the ones for the 1999.

That little white thing on the wall in the shower room is the temp sensor for the rear furnace. Your thermostat controls two zones. Zone 1 is the forward furnace located under the Fridge, and zone two is the rear furnace under the bathroom sink. To switch between zones on the thermostat press the top two buttons at the same time and the display will indicate which one your setting. Don't cover up the little white thing on the wall or the rear furnace won't know when to turn on or off.

Thanks guys for the info. I ran til the low fuel light came on plus about 30-40 miles and it held 70 gals. I ran a couple time til it flashed off on on a few times and it held about 65 gal.

I start looking for fuel at about 600 miles. It's not good to run out of fuel the system would need to be primed after its run dry. So I leave 200 to 300 miles to avoid that. Typically I get 9 to 10 MPG in any terrain.
There are two low fuel lights, one by the guage and one in the dash info panel, and mine never come on at the same time.

I fuel up at about 1/4, doesn't bite the wallet too bad. If I wait until the light comes on it's about $215 to fill.
