Creeping window seals fixed

Late last year I started searching for a cure to my 1999 Tradewinds' creeping window seals. I had a total of ten panes that needed repair. Since I'm near St. Louis, I queried whether there were any places in the middle of the country that did this work. I was referred to RVFogDr in Searcy, AR.

Two weeks ago we headed to Searcy. The folks at RVFogDr were great, from Cheryl in the front office to Lee and his staff that did the work. Their procedure is to repair all the panes within a frame, whether they need it or not, as they figure the "good" pane will eventually fail anyway.

In short, they pulled all seven frames from my Tradewinds, repaired 16 panes (and replaced a piece of glass in one pane assembly), reinstalled everything, and they did it in only 1 days, as they weren't very busy that week. (I expected it to be a 3-day job.) In addition, when their installers entered my MH, they put covers on their boots to protect the carpet. The coach was kept indoors, which was nice, as the weather wasn't too good outside. We stayed in the coach, hooked up to water and 50-amp service. The cost? Under $2,000, tax included!!

I can't say enough nice things about these folks, and I highly recommend RVFogDr to anybody, especially to anyone in the Midwest.

Sounds like great service and reasonable pricing. Thanks for the referral post!

I wish he was in the North East. I am having trouble finding anyone to repair foggy windows here, and I'm hearing the replacement cost is ridiculous. If the price is too high, I may live with it until it becomes a safety issue.
Please let me know if anyone knows of someone in the N.E. region does this work.

Glad you had a good experience.
