Dash A/C recharge?

Has anyone used a product like this one Robot Check to recharge the dash A/C in a National pusher. I have a Cat engine but doubt if it matters which engine. Walmart has a three can pack for about $43. EZ Chill AC Recharge and Retrofit Kit - Walmart.com I haven't seen any TV commercials for it so that may explain the better price.

Dick
p.s. R134a is called out in my Freightliner chassis manual.

In my MH, I used the Interdynamics recharge bottle to recharge the A/C unit. Just fill it up until the gauge says it's full, allow it to stabilize for a few minutes, recheck refrigerant level. Since your MH already has R-134 in the system you don't need the second link product retrofit kit. In order to retrofit an A/C system, it first must be pumped out to remove all R-12 before the new-style ports may be installed. Few folks have that equipment on hand.

Thanks Ray
I'll give it a go. At least I should be able to determine if there is a leak in the system. If I take it somewhere I'll for sure be charged for a leak or worse a compressor clutch

Oops I guess when the guys at the VA Hospital say I have trust issues I need to listen
