Dash gauges not working
Something happened to my computer as I was posting a question and it went away, puter called me an invalid. I have a 2000 Seaview and I had to get it smog tested, I hate California, but the battery was dead. I used my small gas engine driven generator for a few minutes and got the coach started but now my gauges on the dash won't work. Everything else does and it is hard to gauge your speed when driving through the many speed traps in Yucca Valley. Before I crawl all over and under the coach I was just wondering if anybody else had the same problem. Mechanic told me all the fuses are fine. Thanks for any info and safe RV'ing.

Just for a test; you might want to try running an external ground wire from a known good ground point to a ground post on the back of the gauges. For some reason almost all the dash problems I read about are from bad grounds.

The problem , may be that you only charged the battery for a few mins.
Like a brown out at home , your onboard computer may have been damaged or shut down in a protect mode. About all I can think of is , disconnect the batteries , and bring them up to a full charge, re-connect and cross your fingers. Hopefully , seeing full power will re-set the computer .

This happened to my MH when the batteries were jump started by a lot attendant at a RV repair facility. He crossed the jumpers. I ended up having to replace the VDC. Hopefully, charging your batteries will work. Good luck

dead gauges
I had this happen to me while going down the road. Found a loose connection on the back of the gauges replaced a fuse and was good to go. Ours is a 2007 Pacifica
Worth a quick peak at least

Thanks everybody, I appreciate all the comments. I charged the battery but still no joy. I checked under the dash to see if there was a fuse and there was one to the radio but no juice to it. So it has to be somewhere between the battery and the dash. And that looks like a bowl of spaghetti. But there is a place in Yucca Valley that does nothing but work on electrical problems and I hope they can figure out what the problem is and fix it. I have no idea how much gas I have left in the tank or that oil pressure or water temps are good. Will keep you posted and thanks again.

If you have multiple dead, ignition " on " feeds, could be an ignition switch issue, or a relay for the, ignition on feed.
Mention all non operating circuits , when explaining your problems to any repair person.

I took it to the electrical place today and they found a ground short on the board and two blown fuses that were hidden underneath the dash. One was a 15 amp the other a 5 amp. We thing the five amp is for the radio. They are trying to find a schematic but they need to know what chassis it is. I have a 2000 Seaview 33ft with a Ford chassis. That is all the information I could find. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks for helping me out.

It would be a Ford F52 motorhome chassis. Google can link you to much info.

dash gauges
I just want to thank everybody for their input and help. They took the dash apart and found the computer board had shorted out. It was impossible to fix so they ordered a new gauge panel from Ford, at $650.00. But I have an extended warranty so the whole thing will cost me only $100.00. It should arrive in a few weeks and than it will be happy camping again. Thank you all again, I really appreciate the help
