Dash Radio

The radio in the dash powers on, but seems to have poor reception. Can someone suggest how to check if the antenna on the roof may be the problem? I have unplugged and reattached the cable at the back of the radio already.

I have a 2006 National Tropical and was having radio reception issues. I found the antenna cable connector rattled loose and fell off where it connects on the inside roof. I accessed it through the panel below the television. I put threadlocker on the connector and screwed it back in.

Speaking of the AudioVox radio in the Dolphin has anyone replaced theirs and if so is there a recommendation for a replacement that fits without too much modification? My CD repeatedly cycles with power on or off. I need to unplug it in the back to stop it.

On our 06 the cable was loose on the back of the radio.
