Dashboard switches

Figured I would take a picture since the Tradewinds manual doesn't tell me a thing about the aux buttons on the drivers cockpit. Anybody else have the two buttons and what are they for?

They could be to turn on an inverter/s to provide 110v to certain outlets.

The AUX switches in my Tradewinds did nothing. They were installed for dealer options, that's why the manual doesn't cover them. I used one to activate the rear collision detector I installed. I found with tail swing you can hit things behind the coach even when going forward, and the sensors were only enabled when in reverse with the standard install. Well now that Barn Door is closed

With shore power off, no generator, turn switch and then try some outlets for power. I used a night light and checked what outlets were on inverter.

Your Inverter should be controlled at the Inverter Remote Panel. All the Tradewinds I've seen have that configuration. Your Remote will probably be in the hall across from the Fridge if you have a front entry, if it's a middle entry then it will probably be just inside the door, and look something like this.

I have two Aux switches also. I used one for an extra 12 volt plug for my GPS.. If you can get under there see if their are three prongs on the back with one not connected.

I don't have a panel any where like the Berrys and I haven't seen an invertor in any of the under belly compartments. I did find a wfco 9855 power convertor.

I have also c hecked mine on my LTC and it doesn't power anything either. What gets me is when I have gone under the MH for working on something and there are all these wires that don't go anywhere. It's rather disconcerting when you see them and wonder what may have been hooked up to them or if there wasn't anything, why.
I found one pair, red and black, that came out of a harness somewhere behind the right side duals and ran together for a couple of feet then the red just ended in space and the black kept going towards the back all by itself. One of these days I'm gonna try to follow it and see wgere it goes.

The first, I have no clue.. The one by the Generator controls is likely the house battery cut off switch.

There is a battery disconnect switch near the entry door. I am guessing they are for future use or add ons from the manufacturer.
