Day eight in our new(2008) Pacifica-small issue-

Day number 8 in our new to us....Pacifica. We left Santa Ana on the 9th, on our maiden voyage, was VERY relaxing to drive after about 2 hours in California traffic..which was light, and learning how to dock and hook up went well after the 2nd stay..we have been doing 50/50 boondocking-rv parks. We are visiting family in southern Illinois (Herrin) at a small country Campground, dark and quiet...called Four Seasons..nice place...no trains-traffic.

Issues were bad roads...causing the rear bath pocket door-right side- to come undone from the back hanger/roller.
after removing it and fixing it i see it had happened to the previous owner....does any one have a better fix than just relocating and attaching the hanger/roller?

The keeper that is mounted on the wall also came apart...i reassembled it also...i assume the keeper failure caused the damage to the door.

LIFE IS GREAT!!! We are enjoying every second of the new life!!!

Thanks for any input!!!

2008 Pacifica

Dave & Dayna,

Congrats on the Pacifica. I think you will be happy with your National. I notice you said you left for Illinois from Santa Ana, CA. Check out The Dolphins. It is an RV club devoted to owners of National RV motorhomes. The Dolphin Club covers CA, AZ, NV, UT & NM, as well as having some members from other states. It is a chapter of FMCA, so membership in FMCA is required, but well worth the $45 a year dues.

Check us out at The Dolphins

Happy Trails!

Darryl
