Dolphin slide not working

Hello everyone
I have a 2000 National Dolphin and my bedroom slide out won't work.
I took the bed apart and the motor is turning the shaft but there is no movement.
I'm new to the RV world and could really use advice...

The motor shaft should connect to another shaft by slipping in or over it. There should be a pin that goes thru the shafts to connect them. It probably has broken (shear pin).

Out side possibility that the gear has stripped or come lose from the shaft. That may be another pin or a threaded connection.

Unfortunately I don't. I would look at mine but it's 2000 miles away and I won't be near it for a couple of months. Maybe someone else could take a picture for you.

I'm not sure if the slide assembly in my 05 Dolphin is the same as yours, but here's some pictures. I broke pins a number of times so started using 1/4" bolts. It seemed if the slide open/close button was held too long at the end the slide movement, the very high force of the gear mechanism would break pins. I ended up installing limit switches to stop the motor at each end , never had problems again.
