Yeah, stop driving! Sorry, couldn't resist. Actually, maybe slow down a bit. Rook

There is a shield that attaches to outside of exhaust. In most RV parts catalogs or CW. They do work...had one in our departed truck camper. $10 ??

Make sure there isn't a cracked or broken roof vent.
Superglue some window screen to the back of the vent openings of both the roof vent (should already have it) and the wall vent on the side of the coach.

On my 2002 Dolphin, don't have it anymore, the burner tube had loose rust in it. I took it apart, dumped the rust out and all was good.

My experience has been that the burner is dirty resulting in a poor flame.
Clean all the soot and junk out and your problem should go away.

Sometimes the air flow is disrupted down along the side of a rig due to protrusions/location of access cover etc.......this can disrupt the main flame air/fuel ratio causing loss of flame signal (flame no longer engulfing spark electrode).

Dometic has a kit for lower fridge vent/access cover.
Air foil baffle kit
