Dometic/Sea Land Toilet seat ??????

Can you get a new toilet seat for an RV toilet at Home Depot/Lowes? Or are they special?

Depends on the model of your toilet. The toilet owners manual will usually tell you if it is a residential size toilet and if a residential seat will fit. Hope it will because they are about 1/4 the price.

Yes ... be aware there are "round" and "oval/oblong" toilets and seats.

Measure your current toilet seat and the two fasteners and then check out Lowes or HD. This is how I replaced mine a few years ago.

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
I replaced both home & RV units with Bemis Soft Close units, eliminates slamming lids.

Koehler also makes decent no-slam seats.

Do any of these other toilet seats fit the SeaLand or are people simply offering general advice?

I have a Kohler seat arriving tomorrow for my SeaLand 511 toilet. I ordered it after laying the SeaLand seat over a Kohler seat in my house. I'm sure that the dimensions are correct, but not sure about the color match between Kohler "biscuit" and SeaLand "bone". I'll post back when I have it in hand.

Let us know if this a standard elongated seat or something unusual? I'm less concerned about color match than I am sizing.
