I am so happy with this National Dolphin coach its dependability has been awesome! Heading back to Florida starting in mid October arriving early Nov.

An interesting note I wanted to share with all, that many of us 8.1 GM workhorse engines that have surfed the GM workhorse chassis forum have noted ECM faults P0332.

It's an indication of a low power knock sensor fault bank 2 (engine ping). So before I left on this trip I change the harness to the knock sensor because it looked as if it was charred from being so close to the right side exhaust manifold. I also used midgrade gasoline. I have not received a PO332 ECM fault Ssince doing that. My suspicion is that actually it was the charred harness problem.

To prevent further problems with it I wrapped it in and heat shield.

Happy trails all looking forward to the January Rally. Attachment 261209Attachment 261210
Very cool!! We are looking forward to it as well! Should be a awesome time!

Drive safe!

Would be interested. Got our 1997 / 98 Tropical ALMOST where we want it. Pics in the Vintage RV area.Dunno about trekking to FL at this stage tho. Any possibility of something in, say, VA or NC in the spring?

Quite possibly. The location my wife chose was more "central" to most of the initial "members" at the time. But a rally in Mid-Atlantic sounds like a great idea. I'll send you a PM to get you "enrolled".

Has the location been picked in the Panhandle? The only thing I see could be an issue but probably only for the Snowbirds is most will already be settled in at their winter destination and not want to move in January. Others may have to dewinterize to attend.

Yes it has. Here is the email that went out on August 20:

Two more new members: Jeff & Sarah Shirk and Stan & Vani Wayman! That’s eleven members! I’ve attached the updated spreadsheet.

We have picked January 24-26, 2020 at The Outback Springs RV Resort in Bonifay, FL.

https://www.outbackspringsrvresort.com
850-258-3110

We will try and get there on the 23rd. I spoke with Jackie up there (it’s in the panhandle) and their resort did not get any damage from Hurricane Irma. They have 14 sites open right now.

So who’s in???? We need to make reservations NOW before all the snowbirds do. Please let me know ASAP if you made reservations.

Also, FYI, the weekend of January 17th is the Tampa RV Super Show! So you might want to tie your trip into that event. I know we are!

So campers…. Let me know if you’ll be able to join us.

One more thing - Terry and I have discussed another get together in the spring in the Mid-Atlantic area. Kind of depends on our success in January and everyone's interest.

Good afternoon! OK, my wife is the main contact, as she's keeping the spreadsheet with everyone's info. Her email is:

Travelingrosebud@gmail.com. Her name is Terry Rose

Mine is amrose@edtengineers.com. My name is Al

She'll ask for names, email, cell, are you a snow bird, and a few other questions. We have a rally set up for January in the FL panhandle. I think so far 6 or 7 coaches will be there. Send her an email and she'll get you on the mailing list....and welcome. National's are great RVs. Ours is a 2006 SeaBreeze LX 8321

Good afternoon all. It looks like there are still a few folks who have posted on this thread who might not have gotten through to Terry. If you have not heard from her please email here at: Travelingrosebud@gmail.com

She will be sending out the current roster next week.

Thanks!!

Al
