Engine Cover Keys

I have a 06 Seabreeze 1321 on a F53 which I purchased used and I do not have a key to get the engine cover off. Does anyone know where you can purchase them?

Thanks,
John

If you can't find one, worst case you can drive your m/h to a locksmith, usually they can make a blank off your lock, good luck.

On my previous RV, a 2000 Sea Breeze, the key to the bay doors also worked the front engine door lock. As Richard S. indicated it is a TRIMARK key.

Check out Southco http://www.southco.com/class/e3-vise...84.html?ctid=3

My engine cover locks are Southco 7mm triangular locks. Should be able to get a new key through Southco.

I'm confused. What lock? Are you talking about the doghouse? Mine is fastened by 4 quarter inch phillips head screws.

Mine is attached with 4 Southco Vise Action Compression Latches with a 7mm triangle lock. My 01 Surfside was attached with screws. This may have something to do starting on the 06 chassies,
the dog house has a lower profile because the engine sits 4 inches lower.

If it is the 7mm triangle key you are talking about, I just use a regular 7mm 6 point socket on mine.

Thank you, it is a 7mm triangle key that is needed. I will have to try the 7mm socket and see if that works if not I will order one from Southco.

Thanks,
John
