My 2001 Tradewinds has a 330 cat. On a recent trip I noticed the engine temp was running very cool. I have read that the side mounted radiator engines run cooler but I just wonder if I have something to worry about.

Hi sirrock4,
I just got back from a trip with the same problem , I have a 460 ford , a cat will want to run warm so that the oil will work right . I am going to replace my thermostat , because if wants to stick open it may stick closed. I assume that it is running cooler than normal.
