Expedition RV Covers

Has anybody had problems with an Expedition RV Cover. I bought an EXA3337 last year on Ebay for my 35' Dolphin. I put in on the last of November as instructed. About 2 weeks ago we had some winds of 25 to 35mph with a January thunderstorm. It ripped the cover in 3 different spots. One large one on the drivers side near the roof, and 2 different tie down hooks were ripped off. One ripped the seam about 10'. Since the cover has a warranty of 3 years I attempted to file a claim through the company. They refused the claim saying the warranty didn't cover damage from wind. They did offer to send me some patch kits. My question is why a cover that expensive ($310)can't survive a 35 mph wind. We put these things on to protect the units from the elements. I could understand a 60 to 70mph wind, but 35.

I'm on my second, first one tore in half after 4 years and this one is on it's second winter. I try to patch/reinforce wore spots with some fabric tape after taking it off every year, I have had the tie downs rip and I just use tape to repair them. I also try to cover all sharp corners or protrusions with something to help protect the cover. I'm happy if I get 4 years out of the cover, think I'd for go one with only 1/2 years. I really wish I could find reasonably priced indoor storage.
