Flashing Xantrex Lights

Our rig sat for a few days and when I connected back to shore power all the lights on the Xantrex panel were flashing. Evidently the house batteries were down and caused the situation. A search found an old thread from '07 on this issue.

I reset the unit by unscrewing the Xantrex panel and disconnecting the communication wire behind the panel as described in post #3 by Joe-K in the original thread. That wire is actually a phone jack-looking connector.

I'm posting this in case there's anyone else out there with this issue.

Seems like it would been easier to unplug the cable at the Xantrex unit.

I had the same issues with the inverter a few days ago. Did the the same thing pulled the phone plug style in the rear of the panel and worked!

You can also pull the other end of that plug at the inverter and it will have the same effect. Much easier to access since it is in the front of the unit.

I suppose that would be so if I knew where it was. Maybe I should look for it. LOL

It's located in the compartment forward of your steps and should be on the front of your invertor.
