Fresh Tank Overflow

My fresh tank overflow hose has broken off. Not much room to get up under the cap back there.
Anyone else had this problem?

Mine has broken off as well, I bought some same size hose and am going to try and add it to what’s left of the existing portion tomorrow. I have a Dolphin 6355LX and your right there is not much space back there.

Over Flow Hose Dolphin

I am very tall and thin. So, you can see how I was able to snake my way up there with my long arms. Removing the tank looked pretty daunting and taking off the back bumper/cap was totally off the plate. It could be done, but on a 14 year old rig, I could see the paint would get damaged. So, I bought swimming pool hose, and fashioned an end with support and you can see what I did with the nipple end at the tank. I was generous with the silicone. I fashioned a bracket to hold the end up and with support. Sorry if the pictures are real good.
My problem right now is I can’t test it since the system is winterized. We will be going out on the 15th, so I’ll let you know if it works.

How did you know the overflow broke off?

Overflow

It would puke water out at various levels of parking position and would not fill all the way.
