Fresh water pump location

I have a Dolphin 5342 and the fresh water pump runs but no output after winterization. The pump appears to be behind the panel in the wet bay. I don't see any access point other than removing the panel. Once I get access to the pump I will verify everything is ok on the input side. Just wanted to verify there wasn't an easier way to get to the pump other than removing the panel.

Just remove the screws on the face of the panel.

I have a 98 Seabreeze and the water pump access on mine is from inside behind the hall closet lower drawers. You pull the drawers out and there it is. Still not easy to access.

Before you unscrew anything to get access, just put suction on a faucet close by and make sure you have water in tank. Turn the pump on and see while you're sucking on the faucet if water starts to come. The pump might have run dry.

The service panel was no fun getting off and even less fun getting back on.

I cleaned the input filter and it now works great.

Thanks

Glad you found the problem. Are you using an external water filter by chance? If not, it might be a good idea.
