Well, I finally took my coach in today to be serviced for the refrigerator! It works fine on Electric, but will not work on LP! I exhausted all possibilities before sending it in!I checked the batteries, bled the gas lines, and blew out the back of the fridge with my air compressor to no avail! I am wondering if this problem has ever happened to any of you! The darn thing just will not ignite! Luckily Dometic will honor the warranty and hopefully I will be back in business!

There could be several reasons for this. It could be the igniter or the thermal couple. I once had your same problem while on the road. I found a loose grounding stud just above the gas tube leading to the pilot. There were several wires attached to it with a small nut. The stud (approx 1/8 inch in diameter) was loose and wobbled. I used a piece of duct tape to keep it from wobbling around. As crude as that was, it worked until I got home and properly fixed it.

If you're under the warranty, you should not have any problem. (From Dometic)

If you're not under the warranty, you still will have no problem from Dometic...but get out the plastic for the dealer.

G'luck.

Well, I took it in to the shop and it was the igniter unit. They got the approval from Dometic and had the part in stock! I am fixed and ready to go! South Carlsbad Beach camping here we come this weekend!
