The front seal, weatherstripping,on the front door of my Tradewinds has been leaking at the top of the door and letting water in that has been either running down the inside of the door and out thru the lock, down the front edge of the door or just down the door on the inside and ruined the carpet and the wood under the bottom step of the stepwell. It seems as if the problem has been caused by the weather seal deteriorating and/or folding over. With the help of a couple of members on this forum,I found some,50' roll, and it's on it's way. I'll have to get some double edged tape, which I forgot to order with it,from HD,or somewhere and install it and give it a water test.If it works,I'll have some available at my cost,to be determioned plus shipping if anyone needs it.
I hope that this doesn't violate any forum rules and if it doesn't,send me a PM..

Got the stuff today and checked it out with what's on the door and it seems to be the original product and you can really see why it's been leaking. That stuff should probably be changed every several years, along with the foam around the door,to stop water and wind leaks.
I am in the process of changing that foam now also.
