Front TV

2006 National Tradewinds 40c. I want to replace the front tv and was wondering if anyone knows how to get the assembly out. I want to put a flat screen in, but am trying to get the frame off and just am not figuring it out. The last front tv I took out of our old motorhome had to come out a piece at a time.

Can't be sure on your coach. But the frame that retained, my over the dash TV was held in place by screws that were accessed from the cupboards on either side. Removing 3 screws per side the frame came out ( be ready the TV may follow ). Hope this helps .

You can also do a search on the top of the page here. Many of us have removed the front TV with help from others on this site. After searching for the info, be sure to really look at all the pictures, too. I used a metal ruler, and used duct tape to extend an open-end box wrench to reach the 6 large bolts on the bottom of the cage. I also found one small screw holding the large trim piece to the ceiling. Most importantly, understand that the TV weighs about 80 pounds, and will have to be lifted over the metal lip keeping the set from sliding forward. Before you lift it over the lip, make sure all electric cords and cables have been disconnected. Then, get some help to catch the TV as it falls down into your lap. I had 2 friends assist me, and needed them! Feel free to ask questions, many will help. Good luck!

On our 06 Dolphin the wood frame is held on by 4 screws that are behind the wood "buttons" inserted into the face of the frame.
