Fuel Pump

Well after a beautiful trip to the Midwest, Wi & Il, we almost made it home. About 8 miles from Cheyenne, Wy the engine raced, lost power when given gas and then at idle died on the side at the end of an on ramp to I-80..GoodSam to the rescue..got us a tow to Cheyenne, the repair shop made room right next to the building and we stayed there overnight..the next day after checking out the MH we needed a new fuel pump..well it's ready today and we'll pick it up Monday..the tab for the pump, filter and breather hose plus transmission oil change,,1640.00. Oh well just some info for you guys,,the MH has 32,000 mi. 8.1 Workhorse..at least we are ready for our next trip.

Glad you got it fixed. Unfortunately, our coach repairs tend to be expensive.

Yes I know they cost..I really posted the message for the information. A lot of RV owners have problems of some sort or another it's interesting to know what others have experienced and what it cost..Now I know what a fuel pump change costs...thanks for the reply...happy trails.
