Furnace not heating water bay
According to the documentation on my 2004 Dolphin LX, the furnace is supposed to also heat the water bay. I put a remote temp sensor in the water bay and then ran the furnace... the temp in the water bay did not increase, but the coach was nice and toasty.
Do I need to open a furnace vent somewhere in the bay?

There is not a vent opening in the basement. I have not trusted the gas heat to warm the basement area. If we expect the temp to be that low, I turn on the basement compartment lights. We used this method in 10 degree weather, worked fine.

Our '05 Dolphin has no built-in means of heating the tanks - fresh or gray that I know of. Does anyone here have any suggestions? I have 110v outlets in the "basement" that I could use to put incandescent lights near the tanks, but are there any other suggestions?

By the sounds of the other posters here, you have no basement heat, provide heat from a cube heater, or a trouble light...... to keep things warm.

Only one poster with a different year Dolphin. Hoping to hear from others. I use a drop light but that is not the point of my post.

JJH3rd
An electric space heater plugged into one of these works for me.
(It turns the heater on if the temp drops to 35 degrees Fahrenheit and off when rises to 45 degrees Fahrenheit).
120-Volt Thermocube Thermostatically Controlled Outlet-TC3 at The Home Depot
BTW, since it is completely automatic no electricity is used, or wasted, if/when my furnace warms the area sufficiently.

I have a duct going from my heater plenum to the water tank area. The plenum on my coach is behind the metal grate located below the refrigerator.

My 07 Seabreeze has one heater duct that goes into the basement area that keeps all three holding tanks and water lines warm.
