Gas cap for 2007 Dolphin

As luck would have it, after fueling I drove off without my gas cap. 2007 National Dolphin Ford V10. I went to a NAPA store to get a replacement, however the cap for a Ford chassis would not work. Anybody know the part number for the correct cap? The cap I lost was a locking type, don't know if this was standard equipment or not. Motorhome manual does not address the gas cap.

NAPA found a cap for a Chevy Workhorse chassis that fit, but unscrewed a bit too easily.

Help.

Thanks

I lost one once, Went to Kragen / Oreily auto parts, they had a good selection and after trying several found the correct fitment.

Yep, that is the key. It is a Ford Chassis, so you need to look at Ford Gas Caps. I found a non locking one for my National in an auto parts store. I started by looking at the catalogues that they typically have listing Gas Caps for automotive models. Look in the Trucks for your year for Ford, you should be able to find one of them that fits.
