Generator issue on 2000 National Seaview
We have recently purchased a 2000 National Seaview. The generator starts and runs, but I am unable to connect the generator to the house circuits. I don't believe there is a transfer switch so I'm assuming it is a manual switch of some kind.
Does anyone know how to connect the generator to the 120v of the motorhome?

Welcome to irv2. You should have a power cord that plugs into the generator and also check the circuit breakers on the generator itself to see if they're in the on position,

There should be a place to plug the Power cord from the motorhome into a socket from the generator. Mine is inside the compartment directly in front of the generator. Or it should be in the same compartment your power cord is. Just look for a socket to plug the same cord you connect at a campground but plug it into a socket mounted inside a the compartment with the power cord. IF you need a picture I could get one.

I seen the plug, and it is in the compartment where the power cord is located. I thought that might be it, but when I plug the power cord into it none of the 120v worked, such as microwave.

Where is the other end plugged into? Check the breaker on that side and the breaker in your MH.

The breakers on the generator appear to be in the on position.

I plugged the motorhome power cord into the plug. I checked the main breakers inside the motorhome which are located in the bedroom. They are all in the on position as well.

Ask him where the breaker is and if it's a GFI , that may be an issue.

If you have plugged the power cord into the plug in the same compartment as the power cord. Try turning the breakers on the generator off and then back on a couple of times.
