Has anyone replaced the fuel linf feeding the generator, my Genarac is not getting fuel and if i place a line from the generator into a 1 gal gas can no problem. Was told by Giant RV to replace the line on top of the tank but will need to be dropped to gain access to the line. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

Be sure you have a full tank of fuel and then try it. They will shut off at about 1/4 of a tank and your fuel gauge could be malfunctioning.

Been there, done that, fall of '05.

If memory serves, it was five hour book rate time to drop and replace the tank. , but, hey, the hose was only $11. Had it done at an independent shop in Yuma.

I have read about others going though the floor under the bed for fuel pump problem, may be something to look into!

Did mine in the drive way with a 1/4 tank of fuel. You don't have to drop the tank to the ground, just about 12" or so. The trick when raising it back up is to put spacers between the frame and the tank hangers so the hangers don't move the bolts on the inside of the frame. You will know what I mean when you see it.
