Does any one know where the Hazard Flasher is located on a 2001 Tradewinds LTC 3970? I have the part number from Freightliner but I can't find the flasher behind the dash.

This may not help......but on my 98 Tradewinds, the hazard flasher and the turn signal flasher are both located to the left of the driver's seat, behind the panel, remove 4 screws to get to them. Rook

Rock,

I already looked there thinking that was a logical place. No dice. Freightliner says it's under the dash but I can'f locate there either. They said listen for the turn signal flasher and it was near it. I can hear the turn signal flasher but cn't find it either.

Hi dick,

We have an 03 LTC, so it may not be the same. Ours are in the compartment ahead of the left front wheel below the drive.

Dick...if it actually is under the dash.....you can get easier access by removing the instrument panels (if you have them, mine has 3 panels). Remove 4 to 6 screws and they just lift out. Rook
