Headlight Switch Reminder alarm...
Hi All,
I bought a 2001 National Surf Side 3311 a few months ago. I am wondering if anyone knows if it is supposed to have a reminder alarm for the headlight switch. I run with the head lights on a lot and when I park and turn the key off there is no sound (ding ding ding) to remind me to turn the lights off. Perhaps it has one but it is not working, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Richard

My 2001 Dolphin didn't have one either. I had an old kit in the basement that was over 20 years old but had never been used. I used it. I did a quick google search and found one on ebay for 19.95. Not the same but similar to what I used.

headlight alarm
Thanks, that helps.
Mike, is it hard to install the beeper or would it be better to have it installed? I'm not too savy on wireing.

Here is a link to instructions for a car.. Hyundai Santa Fe Headlight Buzzer Installation
No wires just clip it on the fuse block. Looks real easy.
Also you don't have to pay $20, here it is for $8.50 Automotive Electronic Accessories - Quality Accessories for Your Car

I remember those things back in high school. Think mid 60s. Don't remember how much there were back then. Maybe a buck $2.98.

I received the buzzer today and after figuring out which fuses to attach it to I got 'er done. Now I won't have to worry about leaving my headlights on and running the battery down. Thanks to all for the assist... I hope I can help someone else out with this thread.
