Ok I have read several posts for assorted NRV models and their headlights. I think this will be unique!
When I turn on the high-beams the low beam shuts off giving really poor lighting. Someone said they left the driving/fog lights on. On mine the driving lights turn off also. Both beams stay on when I "flash" the lights. pull switch to the momentary position. Also my DRL's seem to be just my low beams on constantly. They do not seem to be dimmed at all. Thought drl's were either small aux bulbs or dimmed low beams?

What headlight assembly does the '06 use? My '05 used a stacked 1999-2002 Chevy Tahoe/Silverado headlight and parking light assembly. My DRL's have never worked. I got tired of the high beam only with no close-in lighting, so I got a relay and set it up to also activate the low beams when the high beams are on, but the low beams work by themselves normally. I bought a Painless Products relay kit, but the wiring instructions were totally wrong, so I had to figure it out for myself. The combo hi/lo beams are much better.

How did you figure out what head, light assembly you have? I only have LH RH on my lenses, did you have to re,ove it to see what is on the shell? Not that removing it is real difficult since the only thing that holds the headlight in is the trim bezel!

The way figured it out was to look at different cars and trucks until I saw what we had in the Dolphin. It wouldn't make financial sense to make their own. Our are also chevy tahoe / pickup / suburban front stack. Ford econoline van rears.

I read somewhere that 2006 Dolphin headlights are from Ford Expedition 2003. I looked at one we were working on. It's a match.
