Help with Power gear living room slide out adjustment

I have a 2002 National tradewinds and the living room slide (couch and dinette) when open, slide seals at the top but is away on the bottom about 3/4 to an inch. I thought that to adjust this would be easy. First I see tip #82 which says the slide out floor from rail should be within 1/8 " front to back mine is more like tip #124 as far as distance to rail from slide out floor, but actually looks like mine as far as not having an adjusting bolt on outer end of rail. Then I look at tip #124 flat floor room height adjustment and this configuration is what the dimensions to the bottom of floor from slide look like (dim A and B) except I have no adjustment bolt as pictured. Then I look at tip sheet #137 and I can't find this configuration any where. The only adjustment I can see is a approx 1" bolt screwed into the end of the rail through what looks like a sloted adjustment plate, but to adjust it you would have to put a jack under the slide out to raise or lower it. Can anyone clarify this for me, any help would be appreciated.

I had my big slide adjusted by the Guys in Perris that did work for National.
The bolt you mention is it! They put a piece of 2x4 on a floor jack against the inside edge of the bottom flange to take the weight of the slide and loosened the bolt to make the adjustment.
They used an air wrench with a bunch of torque so it would stay set.
The bottom of the slide sits on rollers set into the floor. They are not adjustable.
From what you describe, yours needs to go up on the outer flange so it should be an easy fix.
You can do it yourself if you have a jack and a big wrench!!

I adjusted one end of ours using a short bottle jack from Harbor Freight between the Power Gear arm and the bottom of the slide with a block of wood between the jack and the slide floor. It worked well.

Thumbs up

I did adjust the bolts (1 1/8) for a little vertical adjustment so the slide would close on the bottom a little better I assumed the floor thickness was 3/4 inch (cause I looked all over and couldn't find anything giving me the floor thickness of the slide out) and set dimension B (I think) according to the tip sheet I also sprayed the rollers with dry film lube. I am now looking for a horizontal adjustment as the wiper is away from side of the slide on top but touches like it supposed to at the bottom. Thanks for the info guys I really have learned a lot from this site and all the valuable information that is on here.
