I am excited to pick up our 01 tradewinds, have always had a fifth wheel, so this will be alot different! I will probably need tires next year for the rear can anyone give me options (tires you've had and liked ...or recommend) and ball park cost?

Thewellz, First of all I want to extend to you a BIG!!!! welcome to iRV2!

One of the resources that we have available for you here is our search engine, its awesome! If you enter "replacement" and "tires" you're going to get a bunch of stuff to read.

Preferences in replacement tires run from Toyo, Yokohama, Bridgestone and others. Goodyear and Michelin seem to round out the options. The fun is in the planning and meeting your budget.

One of the things that folks try to achieve is to get the DOT date codes matched or very close together.

Please come back and visit us often!

We have a 99 TW and I've just put tires on her. After much searching and advice from two or three boards I settled on TOYO M154 245/75 22.5 tires. The Michelin 235/80 22.5 that came on the coach is a bastard size made only by Michelin. But any other brands 245/75 22.5 is so close to the same dimensions as to be the same. I chose TOYO because of the price, the total out the door cost was, including disposal of old tires mounting and spin balancing, was $1820 versus $3100 for Michelin. Tread where isn't a issue with us since we only put 6 to 7K miles per year on the rig and the tires crack long before the tread wears out.
