Hi,new to me 94 Dolphin problem

Hi,I just purchased a 94 Dolphin with 460 engine, drove it 50 miles home and it sat for 5 days and now it won't turn over. The step is stuck in the out position,it sounds like it is trying to retract for a few seconds then stops. No power to stabilizers, put a new battery in and still nothing. The control switches as you first walk in on the left are not marked so I'm not sure how to even turn steps off.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated,Thank you!

Not sure why no one has replied to you. Which battery did you replace, chassis or coach? On my coach the step is powered from the chassis battery, sounds like your chassis battery is dead. Not sure how you switches are laid out, you should have main disconnect for the 12 volt coach power. Mine has a red indicator light below the switch. If your coach batteries are not dead you should hear the solenoid operate when you turn the switch off and on. Also, your step may need to be lubed. Spray all the pivot points with a good lubricant. Keep your hands and fingers away from any pinch points. For the stabilizers to work the emergency brake needs to be on as well as the ignition switch. I usually have the engine running when putting the jacks down.

If you don't have any manuals you can ask here if anyone has them for your Dolphin. You can also join the Yahoo Groups National RV forum and ask the members if any have manuals.
