Twitch,

I was led to believe by the glass installer that the extreme (in my opinion) cost of my glass was due to it being a one-piece windshield. Additionally, he claimed that as the coach was a newer model, and a limited run, that over time the price of the glass should come down.

I follow the standard rules in keeping 4-5 car lengths in front of me clear, but dodging rocks isnt an easy task in the Beast. I am now vigilant in cleaning and spotting any chips in the glass so that they can be chip filled ASAP.

Waiting to hear back from several places on a quote, just curious to see what others paid for theirs.

Anyone want to guess what the quote will be

Mine is a two piece and I only need to replace the driver side.
Didn't cost me a thing, as mandated by state law with no deductible on insurance policies for a windshield, no matter how much it might be, so check with your state and insurance company first, assuming you have insurance.
