How to adjust Drivers seat armrest

My Seabreeze drivers armrest wont lower all the way down to the resting position. It will only come down about half way and stop. What do you do to allow it to come all the way down? I've tried pushing in on the swivel point as well as pulling out on it and nothing moves?
Thanks for your ideas,
Viper

Some captain chair armrests have an adjustment dial on the underside of the arm. Turn one way and it raises the "down" position. Turn the other way and it lowers. Yours might be similar.

I have an 2005 istica sonova with the same problem, manual says it is adjustable so when you recline the seat the arms adjust down...?? Tried and tried and can't get them to adjust. Anyone know what I need to try differently?

On my "05 Sea Breeze I give the arm rest a good smack at the pivot point and it works every time. Was very frustrating until I found that this works.

if the armrest has a zipper to take the cover off, unzip it and you will find a hole to stick a long neck socket loosen an tighten to suit. My Tradewinds is that way.

Same on my 98 Sea Breeze. Mine would not catch on the downward movement. A quick snug of the bolt and WHALA!

Yep, that's the way my CC is also. The previous Dutch Star was different.
